My work focuses on helping individuals experiencing everyday life stress and challenges, difficulties with racial identity, relationships, family conflict, and those with a history of trauma including complex trauma from abuse, disruptive attachments, and racial trauma from work or other areas of life move forward towards feeling better and healing.
We offer space to move forward toward healing and growth by holding space for you to be present with all of who you are or need to be. I understand the impact stress, life challenges, change, and trauma can affect how we show up in different areas life. Together we will explore the intersectionalities, complications, and multiple layers of your unique situation and life to heal from pain and restore the self by working through obstacles and setbacks to give you back control of the life you envisioned.
Contrary to what it feels like sometimes, we have choices, and we CAN make changes to feel better and heal. We can lessen the fears, challenge the negative thoughts and self doubts to build up skills to face our fears, better engage with others, and understand ourselves more authentically and meaningfully.
Acknowledging that we need help is hard, looking for help is harder, asking for help is the hardest, and taking the first steps to be vulnerable about your experiences can feel scary.
